Bike and Stay Package at Inn Victoria, a Southern Vermont, Bed and Breakfast

Thinking of doing some biking in Southern Vermont? Several guests have requested that we create a “Bike and Stay” package for the summer.

Yes!...we are listening to our guests suggestions and one that comes up most often for the spring, summer and fall seasons is a “Bike and Stay Package”. So here it is, a Biking Package with the following benefits:

1. New and reliable hybrid bikes with soft seats and good suspension

2. Reliable trails & maps
3. Transportation between trails and Inn Victoria if you wish
4. Trails to covered bridges, water falls, country roads through forests, hidden cemeteries and  
     more
5. Picnic lunch or snack to go

"Thanks to everyone at the Inn Victoria for keeping my engagement a secret - we had a wonderful time and will be returning regularly! Even though I called to confirm my (smaller) room the day before, the Inn did not tip me off that my boyfriend had upgraded our room, ordered flowers and champagne. It was great!

I could not have been more impressed by the home, the room (Prince Albert), our bathroom (which was awesome), and especially the homemade delicious breakfast and tea the next morning while watching the snow fall in beautiful Vermont - what a great time! "

Spring Work Day & Free Stay at Inn Victoria in Chester, Vermont

Okemo Valley's most Romantic Vermont Bed and Breakfast is sponsoring a free weekend of stay and meals at the Second Annual Work Weekend May 13, 14, 15.  Thats right, work on any number of projects which need to get accomplished at Inn Victoria and get a free weekend stay, minimum of two nights stay and all you can eat!

• Stay for free. Includes free meals / minimum two nights stay. Sat evening meal by a French chef in a mountain top home overlooking Okemo Valley
• Work projects begin Friday Morning ....and last through the weekend, but if you are better able to participate mid week....please call us and set it up.

A Romantic Getaway Story of Love in Southern Okemo Valley, Vermont

A few days ago I posted a blog about Intimate Wedding Packages at Southern Vermont's Best Romantic Bed and Breakfast  (Editors Choice Award) as awarded by Yankee Magazine in 2009.  I was so caught up in the excitement of the March Intimate Weddings and engagements that I forgot to share a quick love story Inn Victoria seems to be blessed with.

You know how some B&B's are cursed with hauntings?  Inn Victoria seems to be blessed with Love in the air.  Since Penny and I have owned the Bed and Breakfast in Chester, VT. we have enjoyed the pleasure of hosting on average of one Intimate Wedding per month and on average of two engagements per month.  Approximately 20+ years ago when this beautiful Victorian building was converted into a Bed & Breakfast, a few brave lovers carved their names inside of a closet of one bedroom.  We found those carvings hidden inside & atop of the door frame, so that no one could see, and have since shown our guests.  Today the inside of the closet is filling with Lover's notes.  Take a look at the latest by Michael and Jessica.
