Dear Penny and Dan,

I've been meaning to write you to tell you what a fabulous weekend we had for my sister's baby shower at the beginning of March.  The party was fantastic and all the food delicious!  We all passed around the recipes that you shared with my aunt!  Can't wait to try the scones myself.  The venue was just right for an intimate and special baby shower.  It was just perfect!  Plus the mothers both LOVED their rooms and everything about staying with you for the weekend.  They were absolutely thrilled. The biggest compliments I heard from them was how much they really enjoyed the both of you. You were both so friendly and accommodating that you made it such a comfortable and enjoyable stay.  I'm really glad I decided to have my sister's baby shower with you.  Thank you so much, again!

Vermont was essential territory to both the English and the French during the 18^th Century; many of it’s men went off to fight in the Civil War.  The graves of men, women and children who lived through these harrowing experiences are scattered throughout small villages all over Southern Vermont.  These cemeteries tell stories of lost dreams and changed lives  beautiful poems and words of wisdom.  The setting for each of the cemeteries Penny has prepared in this scavenger hunt, are quintessential Southern Vermont.



Penny has mapped out 15 old grave sites within a 30 mile radius of Chester, for you to visit.  Adding to the adventure, Penny has created a scavenger hunt which offers a prize from Ye Olde Shoppe at Inn Victoria if you are able to successfully complete the hunt.  You will find gravestones as early as 1793 in excellent condition.  The grave sites are in beautiful, tranquil settings and are meticulously cared for.

Inn Victoria, a bed and breakfast in Chester, Vermont celebrates the first use of the breakfast deck.  Owners Penny and Dan created Victoria’s Secret Garden as a part of the multitude of renovations this spring.  The Garden serves as an outdoor intimate event venue.  “Our goal”; says Penny, “is to offer intimate events as packages for weddings & elopements at our bed & breakfast in Vermont.  Family gatherings, weddings, reunions, business meetings, etc. will enjoy a quiet and restful place to gather.  Victoria's Secret Garden can host up to 50 people comfortably with an additional 10 on the new breakfast deck off of the kitchen.
