My husband and I just spent two nights at this glorious inn to celebrate
our honeymoon and New Year's Eve. The owners are absolutely amazing
people--kind, friendly, intelligent, and attentive to your every need.
The breakfasts are truly gourmet dining experiences---food to die for!
My husband has a gluten allergy and they prepared special meals and
snacks for him--homemade muffins and cookies, etc. . The Inn is
beautifully decorated in Victorian fashion and every step you take
inside the place provides a treat for the eyes. There are also two shops
with great products at amazing prices. They even welcomed our friends
(not guests of the Inn) for a New Year's eve dinner celebration and even
bought us wine to serve them. We missed their famous High Tea event;
but plan to make it next time Honestly, you can't do any better than
this--they go above and beyond in everything they do. We stayed in the
smallest room, the Princess Louise, which had a sumptuously comfortable
bed with great linens, bathrobes, etc. . Got a peek at the larger rooms
and they were absolutely gorgeous. All that I can say is get there--you
won't regret it.
